Jana's Swim
Hello dear family and friends,
For the last 8 years, I have been participating in Swim Across America to help raise money for cancer research. I have personally seen how this research saves and prolongs life. My Dad, Gerson Kaplan, was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017. He underwent two rounds of targeted therapy, one round of chemotherapy and a round of an experimental therapy. He lived for 4 years and 8 months after his diagnosis. It had been 18 months that he is gone. I want to celebrate his life and do what I can to advance the research that will continue to keep those with cancer around longer and longer and feeling as good as they can. Please help me do this by donating to my swim. I thank you so, so much. Here’s to health and love and life well-lived!
