In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. Again this year, I have joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can try to change that. This cause is personal to me. I have a close friend who is currently battling cancer, I have numerous friends and relatives who have survived cancer because they had access to effective medical treatment, and sadly I've lost numerous friends and relatives to the disease. 

For a 7th year in a row, I will be swimming a mile in The Baltimore Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention, and treatment at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
