What is YOUR Personal Swim Story?

Here's Mine:

I spent most of my life wanting to be a swimmer. In 2022, with the help of some AMAZING swim coaches and Swim Across America, I made that happen.  I was fueled by a passion to overcome my fear and a desire to honor my incredible brothers, Alfred and Stephen, whom I lost to cancer the year before. 

As a breast cancer survivor, not only am I swimming for fun and for health, I am also inspiring friends and family to swim and conquer their fears.  Together, our team, TK's Purple Fins, joins with so many others in making an impact in cancer research. How exciting!

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. I'D ALSO LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN THE TEAM!
