We are swimming this event for the sixth time to honor the memories of friends and family who have battled cancer.
In March 2022, Michael's father, Stephen, passed away from lung cancer that had spread before it was diagnosed. In recent years, Maureen's father, Franklin Saeva, Michael's uncle, Ronald Cooper, and our friend and MICA colleague Dennis Farber also died from lung cancer.
We also know many survivors and are grateful for the research and treatments that have kept them with us.
