Fairview High School is Making Waves to Fight Cancer with Swim Across America. Everyone's life has been impacted by cancer which is why we're swimming to help "Make Waves to Fight Cancer" and raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment.

WHAT: Fairview High School is Making Waves in the fight against Pediatric Cancer along with Swim Across America Denver to benefit Children’s Hospital Colorado! This event is being created because we know many families that have been affected by cancer as well as pediatric cancer. We are excited to have these funds go towards pediatric cancer research.
Swim Across America is a National non-profit that has raised over $100 million for cancer research & clinical trials through open water swims, pool swims & clinics throughout the USA!
Fairview High's Swim Against Cancer pool swim is taking place on February 3rd. All funds raised will benefit pediatric cancer research & clinical trials at Children's Hospital Colorado's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
We will be swimming a workout based on the statistic that every 15 minutes, 50 Americans are diagnosed with cancer. At the end of our 90 minute workout 300 Americans will have been diagnosed with cancer. We will do fun relays and other sets based on cancer statistics.
Swim is closed to Fairview High School swimmers.
