The clubs of the Fairfield County Swim League (FCSL) are proud to host Swim Across America pool swims in a collective effort to make waves to fight cancer. Each club is making waves in their own way, at their own pool — dedicating a practice, a friendly competition, a water polo tourney — the list is long and creative. The club that raises the most will win the coveted SAA-FC FCSL Cup! Funds raised at each pool swim support Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy and cutting-edge gene cancer research!

ABOUT THE EVENT

Each Fairfield County Swimming League club is making waves in their own way — dedicating a practice, a friendly competition, a water polo tourney — the list is long and creative. All club members, coaches, even family members can join the event!

START YOUR CLUB’S FCSL POOL SWIM: Aquatic Chairs/Organizers: Select a club Team Captain to register and personalize your club's Team Fundraising Page including the date, time, and details of your event. You will need to make a minimum $10 donation for your team to be visible to the public in the Team Honor Roll on this FCSL page.

JOIN YOUR CLUB’S FCSL POOL SWIM: Click on your club's team in the Team Honor Roll on this page. Click on Join Team and follow instructions. Be sure to share your club page with family, friends and other potential supporters. Contact your Team Captain with any questions.

All swimmers and volunteers must complete the waiver found here and bring to the event check-in. If you are under 18, please bring the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

WHO CAN SWIM: All club members, coaches, even family members can join the event!​

WHEN: Please refer to your own club team's page for your event date. If you don’t see your club listed, contact your club’s pool chairperson.

FUNDRAISE FOR YOUR CLUB’S FCSL POOL SWIM: If you would like to donate to a swimmer/club, click on your club's team in the Team Honor Roll on this page. Select the Donate Now button on the club page.

DONATE TO YOUR CLUB’S FCSL POOL SWIM: Click on your club's team in the Team Honor Roll on this page, then share your club page with family, friends and other potential supporters.

FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES: All swimmers will receive a Swim Across America swim cap and tattoos.

  • First team to reach the $1000 fundraising level will receive SAA sunglasses for all participants.
  • Top fundraising team participants will all receive a SAA t-shirt
  • $1,000 - If you raise $1,000 you are acknowledged as a WaveMaker and receive WaveMaker benefits.

Individual WaveMaker Status: $1,000 minimum:

WaveMakers go above and beyond by raising at least $1,000 regardless of your age. Anyone can achieve WaveMaker status - swimmers, volunteers or SAA My Way participants. WaveMakers get special recognition and an exclusive WaveMaker gift. You can learn more about WaveMaker Status here.
