In one way or another, cancer has affected you. Unfortunately, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Swim Across America is a non-profit organization that raises money for cancer research, prevention, and treatment.
I started swimming for SAA when I was 9. I was doing some swim/dive practice when I saw people putting in lane lines and setting up tables. I was interested so my parents decided to let me swim. When I signed up I learned how impactful this organization really is. Swim Across America has raised millions of dollars that was given to beneficiaries that would have not gotten any other funding otherwise.
I am now 13 and this July will be my fifth time swimming for Swim Across America. Please support me by sponsoring my swim. There is still so much change that needs to happen. Everyone will be directly or indirectly affected by cancer, and that cannot happen anymore. This horrible disease has taken so many lives way too early, but now we can start to put an end to it. Because at the end of the day, no one deserves cancer, but cancer deserves to be fought to the ground and never get back up again. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Any donation big or small will make a difference, every dollar counts. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, PO Box 217, Larchmont, NY 10538.
All of your donation will be greatly appreciated!
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting!
