The Harborfield & Huntington Swim Teams are Making Waves to Fight Cancer with Swim Across America. Everyone's life has been impacted by cancer which is why we're swimming to help "Make Waves to Fight Cancer" and raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment. Since their inception in 2001, the Nassau / Suffolk Chapter of Swim Across America has raised over $10,000,000 to support cancer research, prevention and treatment.

Proceeds from the swim will support immunotherapy research at the Swim Across America Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, lung cancer clinical trials at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, pediatric brain cancer research at the Feinstein Institute of North Shore and pediatric oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.

WHAT: The Harborfield & Huntington Swim Teams are swimming to fight cancer with Swim Across America! Proceeds raised help fund cancer research at local hospitals and cancer centers.
WHEN: August 26, 2022 from 8:00 - 10:00 AM
WHERE: Centerport Yacht Club
HOW TO JOIN: Click the register button in the middle of this page and get your own fundraising page to send out to your friends and family. All swimmers and volunteers must complete the waiver found here and bring to the event check-in. If you are under 18, please bring the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
FUNDRAISING: We encourage swimmers to each raise at least $100. Many will raise more but if everyone raises $100, our swim could raise thousands to support cancer research, prevention and treatment.
Encouraged fundraising minimums are:
- Child (Under 18) - $100
- Adult (18 or Over) - $250
All swimmers will receive:
- SAA T-Shirt and Swim Cap
- If greater than $250 Raised - an SAA Towel
