ABOUT THE EVENT

WHAT: Swim or Walk to fight cancer with Swim Across America!

This year North Shore Tower’s Management and Board will be hosting a Swim Across America (SAA) POOL fundraiser for cancer research. Established in 2001, SAA - Nassau/Suffolk has raised over $12 million for our beneficiaries: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, the Feinstein Institute of Northwell Health, the University of Texas MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital and SHARE Cancer Support (LI). Thank you for your support of cancer care here in Nassau-Suffolk counties, Long Island, NY! These funds will enable these centers to continue their work, in the fight against CANCER!

Do you know? Every 15 minutes, 50 Americans are diagnosed with CANCER. Perhaps, dedicate your WALK or SWIM that incorporates the 15-theme. SWIMMERS can choose freestyle stroke for 15 minutes; then breaststroke for 15 minutes or at your own pace! WALKERS how about a relay with three of your friends each does 5 laps X three = 15-minute theme. You can walk/swim in honor or memory of a loved one.
