More and more people are being diagnosed with cancer. I have many family members and friends who are currently dealing with a cancer diagnosis. With them in mind, I continue to participate in TEAM HOPE and the Swim Across America community. Our goal is to support all cancer research including treatment and prevention. Having spent many years working in academic clinical research settings, I know how our physician scientists struggle to acquire sufficient financial resources to support their research. Once again, I am challenging myself by swimming and raising money to fund cancer research.
