TEAM HOPE

"The members of TEAM HOPE are committed to the support of our families and friends who are engaged in the struggle against cancer. We have dedicated ourselves to the memory of those whose battle is over and who are now at peace."

On Friday evening, July 28th, the swimmers of TEAM HOPE will participate in a 1 mile, 1/2 mile or best effort swim at the North Hempstead Country Club to "Make Waves to Fight Cancer." Now entering its 20th year, TEAM HOPE has raised over $1,400,000 for cancer research, treatment and prevention. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000. To do so, we must raise at least $55,000 with this one of our two swims.

The proceeds of our swim will support cancer research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center-SAA Laboratory, the MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital, the Feinstein Institute at North Shore LIJ and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

If you wish to make a tax-deductible contribution to support our efforts, please click on a swimmer's name and follow the instructions to make a secure credit card donation. Or, if you prefer, you can send your check, made out to Swim Across America, to the swimmer you are sponsoring. Your contribution may also be company match eligible which will further help us to achieve our individual and team goals.

Thank you for helping TEAM HOPE "Make Waves to Fight Cancer."
