Join the South Orange Dolphins in a Pool Swim to Fight Cancer with Swim Across America. Everyone's life has been impacted by cancer which is why we're swimming to help "Make Waves to Fight Cancer" and raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment.
Proceeds from the swim will support clinical trials and cancer research at our Swim Across America labs.
Registrations: 50 Goal: 5000
WHAT: We started our “swimming laps for a cause” 5 years ago in order to support one of the moms on the team, Monet Caputy Armenia, who was struggling with metastatic breast cancer. Monet passed away that summer, but will always be in our hearts. She was a phenomenal person: brave, dedicated to her family and friends, and had a great sense of humor and wit. To honor the memory of Monet, and carry on the tradition of giving back, we hold a yearly Monet Caputy Armenia Swim for a Cause.
WHEN: June 28, 2019 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Rain Date: July 10th
WHERE: South Orange Pool
South Orange, NJ 07079
SWIM OPTIONS: There is no set distance but rather just swimming as many laps as you can! Relays will be held in the afternoon. Our goal is to have someone in the pool at all times!
HOW TO JOIN: Click the register button in the middle of this page and get your own fundraising page to send out to your friends and family. Sign up as an individual, create a team, or join a team by clicking on the corresponding button. All swimmers and volunteers must complete the waiver found here and bring to the event check-in. If you are under 18, please bring the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
FUNDRAISING: We encourage swimmers to each raise at least $100. Many will raise more but if everyone raises $100, our swim could raise thousands to support mission of SAA.

We are offering incentives to hit fundraising milestones.
