The 6th Annual Swim for a Cause in Memory of Monet Caputy Armenia

South Orange Dolphins

This is the South Orange Dolphin's 6th annual Monet Caputy Armenia swim for a cause. We started our “swimming laps for a cause” 5 years ago in order to support one of the moms on the team, Monet Caputy Armenia, who was struggling with metastatic breast cancer. Monet passed away that summer. She was a phenomenal person: brave, dedicated to her family and friends, and had a great sense of humor and wit. To honor the memory of Monet, and carry on the tradition of giving back, we hold a yearly Monet Caputy Armenia Swim for a Cause. This year we are again teaming up with Swim Across America for our "Swim for A Cause" event.

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.  Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!

You can make a credit card donation by clicking on one of the members of our team below, or send a check to
