Event Volunteers

Volunteers are the glue that holds our events together. Online volunteer registration is available for both Nassau / Suffolk open water swims.

Land Volunteers help with event set-up and break-down, and support our swimmers throughout event day.

Kayakers are our "angels."  They provide the first layer of safety for our swimmers, patrol the swim lane keeping an active eye on all our swimmers, and communicate to Event Officials on any swimmer issues that may arise  so we can respond immediately.  Kayakers must bring their own kayak.

Boaters are required for our Sound to Cove event in Glen Cove in support of our 10K event.  They provide transportation for officials and participants from the Glen Cove Yacht Club Dock to the starting point at the Larchmont Shore Club in Rye, NY.  After discharging our 10K swimmers, our boaters line the perimeter of the swim lane to be available for additional support if needed.

When you register to be a volunteer for the events below, you will automatically be given a personal fundraising page to help drive support for the event.
