Ben Wildman - Tobriner

Ben Wildman-Tobriner

Swim Across America is proud to call Olympian Ben Wildman-Tobriner a part of our Swim Across America family. Ben has been involved with Swim Across America since 2007, when he led his first SAA swim clinic with fellow Olympians Ray Carey and Jeff Float. Not only that, he is currently a medical student at the University of California San Francisco, one of our distinguished beneficiaries.

Ben grew up in San Francisco and attended Stanford University as an undergraduate (an alma mater of many of our Olympic swimmers). He earned his first World Championship title in 2007 in the 50m free, won his first U.S. national title in 2005 and fulfilled one of his life-long dreams in August of 2009 by winning a gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle relay in the Beijing Olympics.
