Erika Lorenz
Ericka Lorenz is an American water polo player who won the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics, a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and two time World Champion (2003, 2007). Nicknamed "Monkey,” Lorenz attended Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, California and was named first team All-American in water polo in 1997, '98 and '99 and was a four-time team offensive MVP in softball. She attended UC Berkeley in the fall of 1999 and was selected to the US National Team, along with teammate Heather Petri. She was the youngest member (19) of the United States Olympic Water Polo Team that competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Originally from San Diego, she now calls Long Beach home. She is currently an LA County and Huntington Beach Ocean Lifeguard and the proud mother of two cats.
