Ryan Berube

 

Ryan Berube competed in the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, earning a Gold Medal in the 800m freestyle relay.  While at Southern Methodist University, he also won three NCAA titles in 1996 (100 Back , 200 Back, and 200IM), earning him the honor of NCAA Swimmer of the Year.  Ryan now enjoys a career at Credit Suisse doing Family Wealth Management.  He lives in Dallas TX with his wife, Michele, and son Jack.  Ryan joins SAA for the first time in San Francisco 2010 and is excited to participate in future Swim Across America events.

 
Ryan swims to honor all those who fight valiantly against cancer, most especially for his wife, Michele, who survived a brain tumor diagnosis at age 17.
