Tara Kirk Sell

Tara Kirk Sell competed in the 100 breaststroke in the 2004 Athens Olympics and earned a silver medal in the 4X100 medley relay.  She was a member of the US National team for 8 years and served as captain for 6 national teams. She attended Stanford University where she was undefeated in the 100 breaststroke, breaking the 100 breaststroke (SCM) world record in her last collegiate win in the event. 

Tara received a BA in human biology and a MA in anthropological sciences from Stanford in 2005.  In the same year she was also a Rhodes Scholar finalist.  She now works as an Analyst at the Center for Biosecurity of UPMC in Baltimore, Maryland.
